Do you have a family member or friend that is passionate about their health and fitness but can’t figure out what to buy them for Christmas, birthday or another special occasion? Here is a list of gift ideas that might help.
1: A Stainless Steel Water Bottle
Say goodbye to drinking from plastic bottles which leach contaminants into your water (even if they are BPA-free), and say hello to the next era of completely clean containers: stainless steel. Unlike glass containers, stainless steel is durable and light-weight but still offers an environmentally friendly product.
Another downside of plastic containers is that they start to smell funky after a while and it’s nearly impossible to get the smell out. If your stainless steel water bottle starts to smell, all you have to do is rinse it out with hot water and a tiny bit of white vinegar and the smell is completely GONE.

Soft-tissue rollers are a staple in any athlete’s repertoire in order to reduce muscle soreness, improve circulation, increase muscle mobility and improve athletic performance.
4: Cold Therapy to Improve Recovery
Col or ice therapy is an excellent way to speed up recovery after an injury but can also soothe the pain of sore muscles and prevent other injuries.

5: Muscle Stimulation Therapy Device
Muscle stimulation therapy is often used by physical therapists and athletic trainers to speed up healing after an injury. A small electrode is placed on the skin and electrical impulses are transferred from the device to the muscle in order to improve blood flow to that muscle and thereby reduce inflammation. These devices can also improve recovery between workouts and prevent injury.

6: A Fitness Tracking Band
Tracking bands not only provide the user with accountability, but they can sync with a smartphone app to view progress and join others who are using those particular bands. Many of them have the ability to track sleep patterns in addition to exercise, and offer features which alert you if you’re sitting for a certain period of time.
These bands range can get quite expensive depending on the features and the accuracy of movement, but here are a couple of affordable options with basic features that yield accurate results:
7: A Pair of Funky Leggings
Funky, colorful and just plain crazy leggings are the style these days. But as stylish as they are, the have to be made of breathable fabric, resistant to sagging, and comfortable in order to withstand a rigorous workout.
