Protect yourself from sun damage with Safe Sunscreen from Goddess Garden Organics.
This post is sponsored by Green Sisterhood but the opinion is 100% mine.
Even though I’m not a huge fan of sun bathing, my lifestyle requires that I spend A LOT of time in the sun between the months of May and September. As a competitive beach volleyball player, I spend almost every weekend and some week nights volleying it up with my partner in the sand. I am a huge fan of meal planning especially when I’m busy (which is ALL the time). Not only does it cut back on impulse buys at the grocery store, but it reduces the amount of food wasted, keeps you from making unhealthy eating decisions and allows you to make multiple meals at the same time.
In my 30-Day Life Renovation Program, I offer participants plenty of downloadable tools to assist them in making themselves a priority for 30 Days. One of these includes this 4-Week Meal Planning and Grocery List Template. Feel free to utilize this template to outline your meals for a whole month!

The second is that someone who is interested in buying products from one of these companies asks me what my opinion is on them. [Read more…]

When I was growing up my parents used to make Thousand Island dressing using ketchup, pickles and miracle whip. Then they’d add a bit of water to thin it out. Nowadays you won’t find ketchup or Miracle Whip in my refrigerator but you will almost always find a batch of homemade paleo mayonnaise. I use this stuff to make tuna salad, egg salad and a variety of dressings and dips. Here’s my recipe to make a paleo and toxin-free version of my parents’ favorite dressing. [Read more…]
Every March, I look forward to my annual Reuben sandwich on St. Patricks Day. In the past I’ve had a Reuben sandwich once a year because they tend to be very high in calories and carbohydrates. Plus, the corn beef is usually pretty low quality – meaning it’s filled with toxins and hormones -if ordering from a restaurant. That all changed for me a few days ago. [Read more…]
